EXCLUSIVE : Chennai Express Gets RECORD Prices from Distributors all Over India :-
As there is only 17 days to go for Much Awaited King Khan starrer 'CHENNAI EXPRESS', UTV has already getting huge demands for the film across the country.
Last week, UTV has sold out Distribution rights of CE in CP Berar (5cr), CI (3.5cr) and Rajasthan (7cr) for a RECORD Prices to Local distributors. Never seen these much Huge Minimum Garentee's paid for a film from distributors.
Yesterday after many trails btw local distributors, Marudhara Extertainments had finally acquired Chennai Express rights for Tamil Nadu and Kerala circuits for a combined price of 8crore (All Time High). Nizam area also offering huge Amount but still nothing is sold in that area.
Buzz is that UTV will kept Mumbai, Delhi and Punjab rights with them. Last time Dabangg 2 was the film which got this much Huge Minimum Garentee's from Distributors. But CE getting even better prices than that film.
So Now, Makers are already in Profits but its Distributors, Exhibitors who are to Recover their money. Looking at the pre release craze, solo Eid release trade is expecting distributors will recover their money in its first week itself.
